Julmarknaden in Stortorget, Gamlastan 

Here are some pictures from the Christmas market held in the centre of Stockholm. Its held in Stortorget of Gamlastan. Ohh! It was buzzing with so much excitement among the people. Christmas shopping has officially started. I think this is the first market in Stockholm. There will be many more markets held during the next month. There were typical red colored wooden stalls selling wollen clothes, flavored honey, meat, candies, candles, wine, wooden items, various kinds of christmas decoration. There were stalls with games for children. Of course stalls selling mandel (almonds) and glugg wine were a major hit. Look at the pictures and feel the vibe!! It’s festival time..
