Besides the bonfire under a tree,
when we both were cheerful, happy and free
Colorful leaves listened to our stories
Silly, feely or were they mostly of past glories?
We would gaze at those vibrant leaves
each time they fluttered in the gentle breeze
Hoping to capture those splendid moments
as the world steadily proceeds to freeze!
