D is for Deutschland - EAT post 🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪 While we were in Germany we had the most authentic Black forest cake. I think I have mentioned it many times before on this Insta account, well then one more time. Of course I could have talked about German beer, bratwurst, pretzel, lebkuchen but cake trumps all of them. It is called Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte translated as Black forest cherry cake, back in Germany. Yes cherries are present in these cakes unlike what I had tasted in India😁 We bought our slice while we were visiting the Titisee lake in South of Black forest region in Germany. C is for Croatia - Travel post Sometimes you travel far and discover something that was totally unexpected. Museum of Broken Relationships. When we started exploring Zagreb I had no idea I was going to come across this kind of museum. I was immediately intrigued and wanted to visit. I was not disappointed but felt a little bit heavy and relieved. All these stories just assured me there is enough love in this world, of course it doesn't last and there are all sorts of breakups but humans still never lose the capacity of falling in love. Stories ranged from love at first sight to cruel tangled kinds. But in the end everyone broke off and moved on. Question is will you go to this paid museum? Why? To visit for therapy, for curiosity, for reading stories or just because you are pure evil and derive pleasure in reading breakups stories. Don't some movies and novels already do that. C is for Croatia.. CLICK post First image is taken from the observation desk of Lotrščak Tower in Zagreb. In the picture one can see St. Marks Church. We also managed to hear the canon blast that happens regularly from the tower. Second image is of Nikola Tesla monument. There is /was a huge debate whether Tesla was a Croatian. On Google his nationality is referred as Siberian - American. C is for Croatia - EAT post 🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔 Well, we don't always end up eating authentic national dishes while travelling. We do try local well reviewed cafes and restaurants. Because why not? We were eating in this place called Submarine Burger. I have a very funny video about how we heard hindi youtube video while eating our burgers in between all the western music. Burgers tasted delicious though it is a crowded place and may take time to get a place. We also tried the most famous confectionery in Zagreb called Vincek slastičarnica. It's icecream served in cup is famous. Icecream was good but another crowded place because of its popularity. B is for Belgium TRAVEL post 🚉🚉🚉🚉🚉🚉🚉🚉🚉🚉🚉🚉🚉 While in Belgium we visited Antwerp only for a few hours. I will list the few places we managed to visit but I have to mention the Antwerp station itself. I have never seen an European station more modern looking, clean and beautiful than Antwerp Central station. It is almost intimidating and cannot be explained through pictures. Don't forget to check out or best take a train from this station. I wish I had more time to explore it. Last picture is of the Cathedral in Antwerp. Doesn't this door remind you the one from Barcelona Cathedral. B is for BELGIUM - CLICK post 🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪 While in Brussels, we visited Atomium. Atomium is a huge 102m structure constructed in 1958 for Works fair in Brussels. It symbolized the safe use of atomic energy. ⬅️Swipe Second image is a screenshot of 360 degree shot of Grand Place during night. It is a huge square hosting market during the day and a large crowd during night. Its a hangout place. But the energy is unbelievable specially when surrounded by artistic 14th century buildings. Third image is a well timed shot from downtown Brussels by @utforskar_det_obekanta . Think about it..
