Some recipes are not elaborate ones. I am aware of the need of a healthy breakfast, but I always want to reduce the time invested in making them. Eating muesli as breakfast everyday is difficult, especially as I have grown up eating savory breakfast items for e.g. Upma, Poha, Dosa, Sabudana Khichdi. Hence, eating something sweet and/or tangy early morning is adjustment to my system. I have been away from India for 5 to 6 years. Yet, the above savory options are  more acceptable to my brain than a bowl of healthy muesli, cornflakes or smoothie. Having said all that, breakfast smoothie is something I was willing to try in my kitchen.

Blend handful of frozen blueberries and raspberries with yogurt, coconut milk, normal milk. Then add few mint leaves and almonds. Blend to make sure almonds are crushed evenly. I added a little bit of sugar, but I guess healthy option would be honey.

Pour the smoothie in a small bowl or a glass. Layer it with muesli and we have our breakfast smoothie ready.
